Explains Stubber-hosted Webchat interfaces. Useful for launching chat experiences without embedding scripts or building a custom frontend.

Overview

The Stubber-hosted interface is a ready-to-use webchat solution requiring no code integration. Ideal for:

  • Sharing chat access via a direct link
  • Organizations without a website that still need chat capabilities

Accessing the Hosted Interface via profile

Access the hosted interface directly via a URL:

        https://stubber_internal.stubber.chat/livewebsitechat

      
  • This URL is configurable via your webchat profile

Using a Profile UUID

Access a specific profile directly using its UUID:

        https://stubber_internal.stubber.chat/p/3977b424-16b8-4495-9ef9-ab0171e3f2d0

      
  • Replace the UUID with your own profile’s UUID.

Specifying Branch

Specify which branch to use (live or draft) with the branch parameter:

Customizing the Hosted Interface

The hosted interface requires no embedding, but you can customize its appearance through your webchat profile settings:

  1. Navigate to Manage > Config > Notifications > Webchat/Webchat Profiles
  2. Select your profile
  3. Under the Display Settings tab, you can configure:
    • Custom organization label
    • Custom icon
    • Primary color
    • Chat title and agent name
