Flows

Flows are where you define processes in Stubber.

Overview

The flow is where the states and actions of a process are defined.
This is what you'll spend most of your time editing when you're working on a template.

The flow is one of the most specific parts of the template, along with the layout.

Flow Components

The flow contains a few main components:

  • States - These are the high level phases of the process.
  • Actions - These are the things that happen in the process.
  • Annotations - These are components to assist with understanding and testing.
    • Draft Stubs - These are annotaion links to test stubs.
    • Notes - These are general notes about the flow.
    • Headings - These are used to label sections of the flow canvas.
    • Template Data - These are editable notes that effect template.data.
  • Connections - These are the lines that connect states and actions.
    • Transitions - These are the lines that show how an action will move the process from one state to another.
    • Availability - These are the lines that show which actions are available in a state.
