Facebook Messenger

Explains how to create a Facebook Messenger credential for authenticating with Meta's Messenger APIs. Used for Facebook Messenger integration.

# Overview

The Facebook Messenger credential uses an OAuth consent flow to authenticate with Meta's APIs. This credential enables sending and receiving messages through Facebook Messenger within the Stubber platform.

# Creating the Credential

1. Navigate to the Credentials section of the manage platform.
2. Click the
   + Create new item
   button.
3. Select Facebook Messenger from the credential type dropdown.
4. Enter a Credential Name.
5. Click the
   Create
   button.
6. A new window will open — follow the Facebook authorization flow to grant access to your Facebook Messenger account.
