Template Structure
Flows
Explains flows as the part of a template where states and actions define how stubs progress through a process.
Overview
The flow is where the states and actions of a process are defined.
This is what you'll spend most of your time editing when you're working on a template.
The flow is one of the most specific parts of the template, along with the layout.

Flow Components
The flow contains a few main components:
- States - The high-level phases in a stub's lifecycle.
- Actions - The steps that perform work in the process.
- Annotations - Non-executing visual elements that provide context or support testing.
- Draft Stubs - Links to draft stubs for testing the flow.
- Notes - General context or guidance about the flow.
- Headings - Labels that organize sections of the flow canvas.
- Data - Editable values stored in
template.data, which are shared across all branches. - Branch Data - Editable values stored in
template.branch_data, which can differ between branches.
